COURSES OFFERED
Three Year Honours Degree Course
The candidates who have passed (not before 2009), with the requisite marks (see eligibility criteria), the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2 system) conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, West Bengal or an equivalent examination recognised by the University of Calcutta with at least five recognised subjects including English language (full marks not less than 100), will be eligible to appear in the admission test for admission to the three year B.A./B.Sc. Honours Course.
Every student must enrol for an Honours Course consisting of:

One Honours subject: Eight papers (each paper is of 100 marks)

Environmental Studies: 100 marks

Two subsidiary subjects — Three papers each (each paper is of 100 marks)#

English Language — 50 marks

Modern Indian Language (Alternative English or Bengali or Hindi) — 50 marks
